i'm looking to buy some raws and was wondering what /fa/ thinks about naked and famous denim. how does it compare to other entry level raw denim brands, and if there are better alternatives, what are they?

I like them because they appeal to the variety-seekers and because their weird guy cut fits me pretty well.

Some people bitch about their quality but I haven't had any problems with my pairs.
Had one crotch blowout but it was my fault for riding a bike with the seat low everyday and not getting the pair darned when I saw initial damage.

My favorite pair I own is the Elephant 3. Damn they're sexy. But also hot, and summer approaching makes me sad.

>>8149338
They make a lot of good denim for the price you pay, in varying weights of denim.
Try to avoid their more 'gimmicky' types of denim, those are rather niche pieces. Their more normal pairs are good.

>> No.8150731

>>8149338
They have higher quality of material and construction than anything else you'll find at that price range. If you find a good denim store (e.g. if you're in a Canadian city), they'll be interested in your denim progress and hem for you and cross-stitch for you. if you make a good relationship with a denim store they'll want you to come back and introduce you to pricier denim too

Got my first pair a few months ago. Hated the fit. I don't know why "Weird Guy" didnt throw me off...

Anyway, the jeans had a few loose threads, but I still wore them for a couple of months. Not turned off by the quality, just need a better fit.

I currently own two pairs, One in the 2013 Rich Blue SG, and the Vintage Nudes in WG. But the WG has a really baggy cut, so i haven't worn it in awhile, i'll probably get it tailored sometime soon. But anyways, n&f is pretty good to wear, i haven't had any issues with mine. However, the SG STRETCH are fairly hard to fade and may take more than a year.

Mine are nice and comfy and fit the thigh good. I just don't like the front view to much if a jacket etc... Surpasses the waist. But they're good only mistake I made was getting a 32 inseam, I hate stax.

i got the black power stretch skinny guys almost a year ago sized 1 down

highly recommend. i love the way they age

they get this sheen to them over time witch i love.

my only complaint is that they aren't 37 inseam

mine are 34sbut i don't rly get much staxxx ;_;

I've got a pair of Weird Guys in Indigo, my only pair of raws.

I love em, they fit well even with my big ass/thighs (I squat lmao3plate) and are very comfortable.

Have a pair of Weird Guys in the regular indigo had them for a year but I bought my regular size legitimately my favorite pair of jeans, recently bought some of their shirts as well and I'm in love

The only tip I have is go down one size from your regular Levi's or 7forallmankind's
