there's music out there that YOU think is more interesting in one respect or another, but all your work is ahead of you if you want to demonstrate that there is some clearly "better" replacement for any of them. Lorde is not perfect, lord knows. But I won't be told that I should have been listening to something "better". What's better? There's a lot of music that I know is more interesting, of course! But it's not going to scratch the same itch.
