No. It's just a t-shirt. Thinking about it any more than that is just silly. And if you're that paranoid, then don't buy t-shirts that you're afraid to wear.

>> No.8026192

So, does any of you ever feel the need to wear a t-undershirt under your regular t-shirt, esp. if you're wearing some > $100 t-shirts?

Like - wearing two t's on top of each other not for the sake of layering but just to protect the nicer one from your filth and sweat and shit.

Are you talking about water resistance? The cottons will do nothing except keep the water off you until they become saturated. If you're looking for a casual jacket that breathes, go for cotton. If you need a straight up windbreaker, light shell, go for the synthetics.

That said, they're all generically S&S-y, so just get whichever one fits you best and adds the most interest to your closet.

Can I get jeans tailored to fit more tightly?
I know I can get them tailored to be shorter, but tighter though?

Also, around how much does tailoring cost?

Fairly stupid question here.

Does cotton canvas fabric (aka duck) stretches like cotton twill does?

I am comparing measurements with my twill chinos and I've realised that they stretches by one inch or more in the waist and half an inch in the thighs when worn.

How do you find out the hairstyle right for you? I'm getting my mop cut tomorrow, it's much needed. I'm 21 and most of my life I've either just gotten a basic trim or gotten it all shaved off just to keep things simple, but I'm bored with that shit.

Should I just communicate with my barber and have him give input?

>> No.8043310

>>8043291
That's what I did and now I get a pretty decent cut. Just make sure you find a decent place and express to them what you absolutely don't want, and let them do the work.

just talk to your barber there is nothing to lose maybe show him a pic of what you want

What's an easy way to tell the difference between a standard button up and an Oxford?

Which should be worn for which occasion?

>> No.8045491

>>8045456
oxford is the type of material it is made of literally just look at it.

I'm fairly sure the weave has white cotton running in one direction and coloured cotton in all the other directions.

I think oxfords are more casual, like to be worn under a sweater or something but probably not with a suit. Oxford and chambray is actually like one of the 'cheaper' fabrics to make shirts out of so that's why it's not formal.
