My journey begins at the break of dawn. I leave my home where I have spent many years as a deshi now labelled a ronin until I return with the siccest of cops. Should I fail, I will have no home and no master to return to and will live out my life in exile, saddled with shame and dishonour.

I must rally my strength for the long road ahead. It will be fraught with danger, evil spirits and all manner of foul things that may prevent me from copping grails of legend.

I visit a local apothecary for what I was told to be a potion that grants awareness and strength - i will need it.

I have nearly completed the first, shortest leg, of this journey. The road has been safe thus far but I must steel myself, as there are still many more miles, across lakes and across the ocean, that I must travel before I find the prize I seek. Even should I make it through treacherous path, I still might fail to cop such grail as that which I seek. For when I finally find it, at the end of this long journey, it must also choose me.

After many months on the unforgiving seas I have washed up on the beaches of distant lands. The sailing was anything but smooth, I was plagued by childish and pleb demons, and was forced to eat the ferryman lest I starve.

I came across them at Browns in pacific mall, they were only in size 11 - 385 shekels.

The shoe felt completely different then what I had expected. It is actually quite heavy, and the neoprene portions feel very much like a medium weight wet suit booty . I didn't have too much time to examine it but the construction looked very good, what you would expect of a 400 dollar shoe. Lot's of little details - very solid. Padded heel on the insole, which was not removable; it's either extremely well glued in or stitched.

Alas these are not the grails I have travelled all this way for! I have much bigger ambitions ahead.

I have chanced upon what seems to be an oasis in a sea of plebians. Luxurious white tiling and open vistas leave me in awe. The walls are stocked with fetching items from distant lands and places of legend, and yet I have a feeling what I seek will not be found here. For beneath the veil this place too is plebian. All too the soon the facade falls away and I realize wares were being touted as grails when in facts they were merely mass produced trinkets.

The elements have taken a turn for the worse, it is good that I came prepared and am waterproof like any proper shinobi.

This was the first time I've handled them in person. Although I don't really agree with the idea of idea of replicas, especially when the replica is so close to the original, I can't deny how cool these were. The leather was incredibly supple. Really great construction. Everything is there, but without question it just fails on establishing why it's worth such a high price tag for what really is just a leather AF-1.

Next is the Stone Island Shadow Project rack. I was totally blown away by everything in this year's spring summer collection. This jacket in particular was really amazing (Reversible Cyon-R 3L). Like everything in this collection, the cotton feels great and looks better. Something with the dying process they use makes it have a really unique, almost slightly waxed like appearance. The nylon and poplin details like the collar have a very interesting, corded like appearance and the materiel has a gloss oil.
Jacket is reversible with button closures on torso pockets. Features 2 yyk zippers on each side, so there will always be one visible, regardless of how the jacket is worn. I had a little bit of difficulty getting the zipper done up when the jacket was reversed though as there wasn't much room to thread the zipper.

The Schoeller material was a lot different then what I was expecting. It make sense now that it's under the 'soft shell' category on acrnm's site. The material is much lighter weight then I thought it would be, while still being quite thick. The outside of the jacket has a light sheen to it, while the inside is a microfibre liner. The material somewhat resembles neoprene, in hand it feels very much like a light weight wetsuit - it is also has a lot of four way stretch.
The colour is much darker then the stock photos. in normal light it is almost black.

I changed the brightness so a few more details can be made out.

I was the one who suggested Santouka, if you were alone probably best that you didn't go anyways, it's crowded as hell all the time and you can't really chill and enjoy the meal as there is a lineup outside alot of the time.
