anyone on /fa/ have advice for riding clothing?

I just got a bike from a friend and realized I don't know anything about riding gear, or at least where to look for some more well designed stuff.

Also, this is really just going to be used for commuting, is it huge to always wear riding gear if you aren't kicking up too much dust? Obviously I would always have a helmet.

yea well i say again kawasaki elimantors are really comfy bikes. kawasaki in general is my favorite jap bike brand.
250cc will be a good starter too.
