I keep seeing these threads on here with you guys having a jerk off-fest "I ate only a candybar in the past week I'm /fa/ now". No.

Today I ate 3 slices of bread with peanutbutter and bananas, two glasses of milk and an apple, and it's only 1 pm. I eat so much food, healthy and fat, yet I still look like this.

OP I'm 155 and my maintenance is 3000. Counted on a week when I wasn't able to do anything so it's accurate unless I had a bad read on some foods. /fit/ will tell you "hurr literally every body is the same durr just eat 2500-2800 you're fine" and they are full of shit. Start eating 3k to 4k and you'll see results. Got fucked over so long trying to bulk on 2800 at 130, said fuck it and went hard on the rice cooker and milk carton (4k+ daily) and I gained like 20 lbs in a couple months. Just don't forget to lift or some shit.

Unless you're lifting weights, you'll lose both bodyfat and muscle.

The best thing you could do is eat food with low calories/high protein (like chicken). Eating lots of protein can help with removing that hungry feeling, and if you get most of your protein out of low-calorie foods, you should be able to feel full without eating too much food.

There's no magic. If male eat less than 2400 calories a day, if grill less than 2000.

Pointers to achieve this: Soda and fast food. Cut it out. Fast food is OK on rare occasions. Sugar free soda might make you want more sugar all in all (the body craves the sweetness, but doesn't get the satisfaction of actual sugar), and therefore make you gain weight, but that's not for sure. You might be OK having it on occasion, but probably best to cut it out entirely.

Also, if a diet promises you "fast results" for "no effort," it's a scam. You're looking for something simple and doable that will last like cutting away soda, cutting away vast amounts of pasta, rice, potatoes, adding slightly more salad and protein (meat) to your diet. Drink lots of water. 1/2 gallon per day. It will make you feel more full.

Don't be afraid of a little fat, it is not what primarily makes you gain weight, calories are. Fat can actually give you a feeling of fullness, making you eat less overall.

And the one tip to end them all: Eat less in general. Eat slower. This is something every research program and every nationally funded health institution pretty much agree on, at least in my country: We're all stuffing our faces too hard and we're all doing it too fast.

All nuts are loaded with calories. Yes, they are different from other food sources because the calories come from oils and fat, not sugar, but unless you are cutting away calorie-heavy stuff like wheat completely from your diet, I wouldn't rely too hard on just eating nuts to lose weight.

Also, is this a diet that will change your eating habits for the better? If not, chances are you'll simply fall back to what you were always eating once you've lost weight. This will start the weight elevator, and that shit sucks. You'll look great for two weeks and then you'll look like a fat fuck the next two.

the only way i gained weight was using caloriecount .com, and lifting.

anyways the best foods to eat are avocados, olive oil, peanut butter, nuts, spinach, chicken breast, eggs, tofu, etc. If you eat good foods like that you can gain 5 lbs a week average.

Just start starting five lifting program with increasing weight increments every session.

Eat as much as you possibly can, eat anything or whatever you can, LITERALLY try to become fatfuck (except for dinner, you don't really need dinner).
And soon enough you will blow up in size, unless you have some condition.

As long as you keep your fitness consistent, you literally cannot become "overweight", and any excess weight can be relatively easily cut once you have reached 315lb(140kg) squats and deadlifts.

If you're not eating > 3000kcal/day, you most likely won't be gaining weight. Don't be a pussy, start eating more and if you think that's hard, buy some gainer and drink 1-2 a day together with large meals.

I've gained 8 kg since last August and I used to think I ate a lot but couldn't gain weight, turns out I wasn't eating that much in the first place.

Count calories instead of a dumb list of what you ate. Also eat a lot during dinner. I'm 6'4", skinny (was underweight) and once I actually got serious about weight gain it was pretty easy to eat 3.5-4k calories. Just do some research and make a schedule.
