1. The idea with the salmon + blue is good, but you need a 3rd color to balance it out. If I were you I'd wear a white collared shirt beneath the sweater.

2. Can't tell from the pic but jeans look too similar color 2 the jacket, darker / a more solid blue would be better imo, then roll it up a bit higher and wear some white socks.

3. Shoes definitely aren't working very well but I can't think of any other suggestion that would make it look better

Think my problem with the boots is the silhouette. Lack of closure and the height of the boots leads to a large opening that conflicts with the rest of the outfit imo. Toe is also pointy which is killing me and they just look like p shit quality. I just don't think they fit with the rest of the outfit at all.
