I get really bad ingrown hairs all over my legs. I don't shave them or anything, they just show up randomly, and it sucks. One got a bit infected, which scares the shit out of me.

How do I get rid of them?

They're usually caused on the legs due to the material of yor pants rubbing against your skin, so you can't really prevent them completely. Exfoliating helps to get rid of or prevent ingrowns, alternatively if a little of the hair is poking out you can gently pull it out so that it grows the right way instead of back into your skin. If they're inflamed, there should be a solution you can buy to help calm it down and you can try to remove the offending hair. But if they're infected you should probably consult a doctor.
