Got my first Rick Owens jacket in today. Impressions:

1. Leather (lamb) isn't ultra luxe like my TOJ. It's still solid though, but isn't the type of softness that makes women want to touch you. It feels kind of like a dryish surface.

2. The leather is more durable than I thought it would be.

3. Construction is immaculate

4. Yes, the inner pocket is FUCKING HUGE. I can -literally- fit a sandwich, passport, etc, in here. I could fit a fucking notebook in here if I wanted to.

I don't think I could say this jacket is worth the $2200 price tag they ask for it though. I'd probably put it in the $1300-$1400 or less range.

Ask me anything about the most recent iterations of rick's leather I guess.

It's almost the entire fucking side of the jacket. All the way from the armhole to about six inches above the hem.

5. Also, the jacket is tight around the upper arm and armpit, tighter than what would normally be comfortable, but for some reason it feels pretty much fine with this jacket. I don't think its just the stretchyness of lamb leather. I think its a combination of the high armholes and tight upper arms that make the slimness more comfortable/manageable.

RO really has the cut of these leathers down.
