alden
tricker's
howlin' by morrison (got a bunch of scarves and socks and such from them)
the hill-side (they do some cool collabs)
tender co (haven't seen any but it's pretty cool in pictures)

other than that I judge on a piece-by-piece basis; mostly I like things with goofy prints because im a fuccboi

honestly I don't have the budget to even think about designer stuff, so the brands I like strike some balance between being nice and being practical for me

I don't really have least favourites

there are some brands that I don't particularly care for, like visvim or junya watanabe, but I don't hate them, I just don't like their stuff as much as other people do. and I still like some of their pieces.

there are a lot of brands that I wouldn't touch that are carried at places like SSENSE (shit like Jimmy Choo or DSquared2), but they're not really in the same sphere as the brands I care about, so there's no point in singling any of them out

cdg play is kind of obnoxious

other than that, I can't stand a lot of the cheap leather stuff, like cole haan, bass, sperry top-sider, but that's not a controversial opinion here

so I guess I don't have much to say, but here are some misc. opinions

April 77 (best fit for me so I'm particularly partial to them because I have wide hips and cigarette legs.)

Don't like:
Levis (quality has slipped too far imo, they used to be cheap decent, now they're just cheap with bad fits)
Cheap Monday (fits are at least better but they denim feels very very low weight and thin, and imo is over elasticized)
Naked and Famous

I need more recommendations honestly I haven't tied on much more than these and I wanna up my denim game.

Favorites
Zara: I like that they make a conscious effort to produce luxury lookalikes for affordable prices (you're wearing the same thing but for lower cost) plus they have great store layouts. Pioneers of fast fashion, which I can respect from a business standpoint.
Gucci: They've got some quality shit. I like a lot of their monogrammed stuff, but when they try to get out of it they can get a little bit too "out there" and experimental for my taste. Amazing quality though
Visvim: Self explanatory, the only designer where you actually pay for the quality. If you look it up, their profit margins are so low that I'm surprised they basically give it away for that price.

Least Favorite
Yohji: A million variations on "hurr look at my silhouette, so puffy and oversized" never tries much of anything different or controversial
Common Projects: They've been coasting since the 90's on their low tops, plus they're the most fragile shoes I've ever seen. Maybe if they expanded into clothes? Only thing I like about them is their gold branding... I'd wear a bigger version of that as a graphic on a shirt.
Margiela: Nothing but catering to fucking idiot rappers (ie kanye) and being "so mysterious". Marty can fuck right off with those "replica" sneakers, I can get the same thing (with better quality) for like 50 bucks at the most at places like Zara.

I don't think that was the point of their post, anon. How I saw it was that attracting hot chicks is kind of the antithesis of being on a japanese cartoon forum discussing fashion for young men. Not attracting hot chicks doesn't imply homosexuality, it can imply awkwardness, antisocial tenancies, or apathy towards romance, which are all attitudes that can be found on or associated with 4chan.

I think you're not very bright and shouldn't call people "degenerates" because it's obvious that you're the least intelligent person here if if you missed all of this obvious shit.

I can't really answer this because I only buy their skinnies. in general, I would expect their slims to be a bit slimmer than most just as their skinnies are also slimmer than most. Bumping because I hope someone else can answer this, but honestly I don't know anyone who buys April77 and doesn't buy the skinnies, because the skinnies are particularly good.

jesus im so fcking tired of every fuccboi in this thread shitting on zara, do you think you are somehow superior or fashionable by disliking it, as the other anon said before, not all of their stuff is shit for example black tag and "limited" edition clothing is actually worth the price. if you bought something witout checking the stitching and constuction its your own damn fault. most of you just hate it becouse it brings your "high fashun" trends and styles to people you refer to as plebs wich makes you stand out less. yes they do steal designs but then again so does every other fast fashion brand, thats why its called fast fashion. i dont even own a lot of shit from them but the pieces i do own were decent even before i got them tailored.
