hello /fa/.

ive never posted here before, and im not that fashoinable. sorry.

though im looking for better fitting biker jacket for a slim figured guy. (5'11" and 140 pounds or ~63...64 kgs..) The generic ones I find in shops fit loose and wide, and if I do come across that fits better, it usually comes at a major compromise to its durability. Thats the thing..it needs to be "decently" thick genuine tough leather..

I plan to wear it for life on and off my motorcycle, I already own one I picked up at a thrift for 30$.. but Id like to invest in a one ill wear to the grave now. 300$ is my budget which should give me some options..

The one in the pic is from a company called Staight To Hell, which I had to the chance to try on..it was pretty awesome.. but I'd like to see if theres any competition

thanks in advance... :)

Ok well, I dont have 900 aside for just a jacket.
This jacket is 295. So, you're full of shit. :) and I have a few others that fit well that were even less. I could care less about brand names. Im looking for Fit/Function nothing more nothing less.

But thanks for you help.

this jacket? the one in your op? i can tell it costs only 300$, it looks like fucking garbage, i wouldnt be surprised if it was 100$ either, everything is so similar in that price range

I'm not full of shit dude. If you want good quality leather AND fit that's what you should expect to pay. If you want to pay less that's fine, but we really won't be able to help much in that price range.

Actually scrap that there is one company my hippy friend said was p.cool, but she smells like hemp so take this with a pinch of salt.

Recycled leather.

I would heavily recommend a Schott 641. It's a Cafe Racer jacket in heavy steerhide. The jacket feels like a suit of armor, and it has a slim v-taper. If you have an athletic build, you would look great in it. It's a slim fitting biker jacket that looks great on and off the bike.

The best thing about cafe racer jackets is that they aren't laden with zippers and belts. Leather jackets look great, you should wear one.

Well because you get off a bike ya dingle. Its not always flattering when I walk into a movie looking like im in a superhero uniform. ;) I guess you wouldnt understand.

I have a few Dianese jackets, for when Im out just riding to tide, its armored for that kind of thing.

Look I asked nicely, and got nothing but condescending attitude. Im obviously not asking the right forum. Goodbye

Just wear what you think looks good. It's not worth spending 1k+ on a jacket just to impress some goons on a forum. Shit, i"d wear a faux-leather jacket if it looked decent. but they usually look like shit.

check korean made to measure leather jackets. quality is on par with $2k+ designer shit. faggots like trunks wouldn't know good leather if it fucked them in their arse. don't need to be a brand whore with leather. for actual motor cycling riding you want a thick cow leather, double stitched and reinforced if possible at impact points

This is the double rider from Deadwood. I like it a lot more than the one in OP- notice how it has some texture to the leather and doesn't have that overly polished look that some jackets do. It's the same price as the straight to hell jacket too.
