don't worry OP, i've got the same asian hair/not asian problem.
only thing i can suggest is to get some stronger hair product and flatten out the top while pushing the 'ugly' side back until it's almost pointing to the back of your head. also, haircuts usually need a week or two to grow in properly so you might not be totally fucked.

it will. i'm actually rocking the same haircut and i knew your feels right after i saw the pic haha. just watch out, the back side of the haircut tends to stick up, so maybe check on it/flatten it with your hand every once in a while. good luck my /fa/ broo

uhh i have a specific routine to keep my hair thick/malleable. first i part it with my hands (while it's wet after a shower) then i use mousse, hair dry, and then use a paste like this to shape it. i dunno, try it all out, see what works for you.

the mousse is for thickening, my hair tends to get greasy/flat after some time. if you don't have this problem then you might just be good with paste. gel is gradeschool-tier imo.
