my advice is just to buy cheap used designer stuff, keep the stuff you like, resell what you dont like, when youve figured out what style works best on you you can move onto more expensive purchases. stay away from fast fashion stuff like all saints, void the brand, etc. its just a waste of money, its pretty much as expensive as the stuff its knocking off. "high quality basics" stuff like apc and acne is fine to work into an outfit, but if you dress in nothing but it youll probably just end up looking boring. but yeah just look at fit pics, runway shows, etc. find some designers you like and hunt down their stuff on ebay or sufu

Those are pullout sleeves with thumb holes btw. I had to try and tuck them back in since they are far too warm inside and made my hands sweaty. Actually the angle does affect the way the jeans hit the boots, they look thicker in the pic but thats because it's just showing a stack a little ways up from the beginning of the boot. There is no stack sitting on the top of the boot in reality.
