The answer is yes, there are many websites that sell this stuff. The bad news is that there's no coherency to it: a lot of the big names only sell direct, or close to it. Most of the other ones have paltry dealer networks, with not much concentration at one place. (I'm pretty sure Acronym, Maharishi, Isaora, and CP Company don't share a single stockist between them, except Barney's stocks like literally two items each from Isaora and Maharishi.)

This is this is a problem with vague, poorly defined aesthetics coming out of the Internet: for the most part, they stay there. If someone is even making stuff consciously for it (Techwear obviously leagues ahead of Lunarcore here), the number of people interested in it as itself, with the purpose to hock it, the capital to do so, and the taste to not fuck it up rapidly approaches zero. You wind up buying the stuff like you do any gadget: over the Internet, from whoever sells it.

This is okay, mostly. We cop and we discuss and push it forward that way. But when you look at what a cohesive, smart store that "curates" as much as it "buys" can do - well, you look at Atelier, and that it shaped the international fashion scene for years and just closed.

The best boutique with a good overlap that I know of is Haven (havenshop.ca), whose aesthetic is basically outdoorsy streetwear. Very well curated for that vision and substantial overlap with Techwear, but try copping a functional baselayer or a modern softshell not from Acronym, SISP, or Veilance and you're SOL. There's nothing wrong with that; it's just not that kind of store. I don't think there is one.

Just Google what you want, basically.

It's not a windbreaker, and it has a lot more going on than detachable sleeves.

First, it's made with Gore-Tex Pro, the best full waterproof membrane on the market right now. Jackets with it usually go for ~$500+. The cheapest jacket made with it is $350 from LL Bean, though it's on sale for $300 right now.

Second, go watch an Acronym marketing video, and realize they still aren't showing you all the features of the jackets.

Third, Acronym is a tiny, tiny company multiple orders of magnitude smaller than most fashion and nearly all outdoor companies. Certainly than anyone I know using Gore-Tex Pro. Their cost structure is completely different and they can't spread it over the number of units most places can. The price, while what-the-fuck-oh-God expensive, isn't unfounded. Compare it to a Rick or Undercover leather some time. Material and labor probably costs significantly more, too, nylon be damned.

Fourth, guys, you don't have to buy it new.

Want a pair of Outlier pants? They only sell direct, outlier.cc and at Open Studio events every Friday. Very very very rarely they have a sample sale at some random location in New York you have to attend in person.

Want an Isaora insulated shirt? They sell direct at isaora.com, and you can punch "Isaora insulated shirt" into Google. They'll be a link to Google Shopping up top, and standard search results below. This is the best way to find most things - just punch the name of it into Google and cop the best price.
