I also think that /fit/ is the key but you're paritally wrong. If you keep eating shit your metabolism works bad and if you don't consume protein your body doesn't burn fat. You'll end up skinny of course but you'll burn all your muscle before fat and it's bad because you're ideally targeting to only burn fat away. You should also lift and eat good to burn fat away fast af. you'll never do that with just cardio

Concentrate on eating more fruit and vegetables. Once you do that you will feel full all day and would really want anything extra between meals.

I did this and went from 85kg to 60kg in 6 months or so. I did no exercise either.

But just eat less calories. I'm naturally thin and decieded to lose more weight. I usually eat every few hours so I just ate fewer proportions and the weight/muscle fell off easily.

Most normal/fat people eat too much in one sitting. I also drink water during meals and feel fuller faster.

Just consistently skip 1 meal per day for 2 months.

If you usually have 3 meals a day then have 2. If you have 4 meals a day then have 3.

I guarantee you, you will drop at least 30 lbs.

if you want to lose weight and not work out, cut out some of the carbs and sugars. eat more protein, eat coconut oil instead of butter. Don't drink milk, drink coconut milk. Eat like a king in the morning, a prince at noon, and a pauper at night. Eat more veggies, meat, and moderate sugar fruits. Drink black coffee don't add sugar and sweetener. Try going gluten free. 1/3 of people are gluten intolerant in some form. gluten from wheat, when broken down turns into things that can trigger inflammation which leads metabolism issues.

Two ways I would go about this.

Either go on a Ketogenic diet( High fat & protein, no carbs). This is done to force your body to use fats as an energy source instead of carbs. It's hard to start for the first few weeks so expect resistance. Read this article for more information.

These are both bodybuilder resources but the knowledge is universal.

I'd say go with the more natural approach and use the second diet and exercise. Your body will be healthier this way and it will reflect in it's physical appearance. However if you're dead set on picking between low carb and low fat go no carb.
