Depends on the colour, really.
The lighter colours go well with jeans of varying colours and other such casual wear. The unpictured black pair go with a suit for work and other occasions that call for such formality, same sometimes with one of the dark brown ones that's only just on the edge of the pic. The other dark brown pair are really beat to shit, and can't be worn in any formal situation, so they will be relegated to causal too. (they're currently being recrafted at the RM's factory - walked to death as they were).

I bought the slew of lighter colours because it's summer in Oz, and I was heading for more tropical climes anyway. The Harold's are an enigma; I really only bought them because I'd heard such good things about their construction and to complete the Aussie-Made, wholecut chelsea boot set (RM Williams, Baxter, Harold). Maybe when it's raining and muddy?

I don't know what will match the reddy brown Rum colour with, though.

I might give those away to a relative come christmas time, I think.

I treat them like any other pair of (off)white, casual shoes. They have nice play with browns and warm greys; I'd probably avoid wearing much black with them. Indigo, orange/ mustard, petrol/royal/ french blue, olive/ leaf green... it's all fair game as far as I can tell. I fully intend on rocking them with some white denim as soon as the weather stops being totally shit.
