The secret to jeans is finding a pair that fits to your legs correctly. I have carrot shaped legs so a strong taper on jeans looks better than say slim or straight jeans because my legs arent shaped like that.

Try a pair of 508s, all of my 'bigger legged' friends own pairs and they look great.

I think I measure around 31/32" where I wear my jeans. I am wearing N&F size 29 in this pic. I own the UB201 in size 30, they are loose after stretching out. And I own the skinny fit UB chinos in size 31 and they fit great, maybe a bit tight. hope that helps.
