Best black jeans for >$300? Looking for cut and quality. Inb4 acne troll. I was actually looking at april 77 jeans since ive only heard good things on them. Mainly looking for some stacking and not skin tight

I really don't get it. You can get the same jeans for a third of the price, it's not like denim is an expensive material.

i swear the moment something gets popular on here, there's always a group that goes against the status quo just because everyone likes it.

the sizing can be extremely erratic, i really recommend trying it on in person, some seasons i wear a size 26 detroit and some seasons i need a 30.

the washes/details are fucking cool though, i love the thigh darts/back pockets/hems

Yeah, I had a feeling that might be a case. Unfortunately haven`t got any areas near me in which I can try them on.

Pic related are a pair I just ordered kind of dove into the purchase but I don`t plan on being disappointed, return is easy since it's Ssense and I live in Ontario.

Hey, /fa/

I'm gonna hitchhike on this guy's thread.

I've never owned a pair of nice jeans. Every pair of jeans I've had were Levi's from a mall store or $30 Denizens from Target (grew up poor)

I need a pair of black skinny jeans for around $100.

I have a pair of Denizens that are 32x32 skinny and they fit me, but the cut/measurement may be off because shit quality.

How do these look?

ive been wearing these 1997 helmut lang jeans i found. they are size 31 way too big but i dont give a fuck because the details are so cool.

they have this huge stripe of resin that goes around the front and back, and they are double layered in the back with these huge pockets in the thigh area (see ruler). i have to pinroll them but im kind of digging baggy jeans lately.

>>7333835

oh legit, if you have free returns, go for it, those look like a good skinny one.

Wow, man. The pieces you manage to find is ridiculous haha. The larger fit suits your personal style regardless. You dress laxed so whatever.

I'm a fan of more tight fitting jeans I'm a slim dude. So I hope these fit well. Been lookign for a solid pair of jeans for a long time. Also 3% stretch fabric so I mean room for error.

>> No.7333883

>>7333845

Are Levi's even that much nicer than Denizens though?

I want to actually step up. I can have a million pairs of Levi's, I just want one pair of jeans that's actually nice.

haah sorry i never check mail, hows school?

if you need killer knits for cheap, go to the fidm store, some times they get james perse knits and theyre all $1/yard. I used to buy rolls of great knits there.

>>7333870

ah yeah the stretch in drkshdw tends to vary, lots of the older stuff is like 9% i think, so its super stretchy which can be nice if you want a legging kind of fit, looks like they have a pretty simple wash so theyll be a bit more versatile than a dust wash or one of the crazy blue/grey ones (which are also awesome

and yeah, i want to go see aitors stuff in london when i have time.

levi's are decent for the price. They are of much better quality than denizen. They last for years. and I wear them when I'm working on cars and shit like that.

I've had a pair of denizens for less than a year and they've torn in multiple places. I just keep adding patches. Seriously, denizens are garbage. not worth the price.

I'm currently wearing a pair of N&F black power stretch when I go out. Coming up on a year with no washes in january. Really looking forward to the year mark cuz then I can buy new jeans. I like the fit but I'm over how skinny they are. Especially since my legs are getting bigger from exercise.

I'll take this into consideration.

I think I just need to go to the mall and try on a bunch of different pairs of jeans until I find one I like.

This may be more of a /fit/ question, but should I keep my legs small? I was thinking about getting a YMCA membership and going ottermode, but it seems beneficial to keep my legs small so I can wear nice jeans that my quads fit into.

yeah the construction on aitors new stuff is particularly incredible, which is really nice to see after looking at the finishing on his earlier skull bags. I cant wait to see in person.

do not take sapos class. thornton is a bit better, but still. drebskaya is fucking awesome in everything, and kim teaches a really good sketching class as well, so that will be nice. im excited for you, that shit is so fun, im kind of a nerd i loved grading

haha just chill at starbucks, buy a shitty green tea and do gestures for hours. i used to do that on weekends, its so fun, sometimes id get an audience but its great practice

i used to hate how i sketched but more and more it feels good, its gotten automatic, now its fun

for sketching, for me, i think the key was to learn to love it, you start to improve from there. I still think my sketches are kind of shit, but at least i can communicate something

i really love the heavy, clunky military boot silhouette, a lot of models i find are too slim and refined
any recs you could give would be great
