Is there any cures for blackheads? I have basically perfect skin except for those fuckers in my nose. Have tried everything and nothing works, those nose strips just made it worse.

I found a blackhead removal mask recipe a while ago, and apparently it works pretty well. I haven't tried it yet, though.

Seconding this. I popped a massive pimple on my nose as a teen and have a dark scar in the middle of my face to this day because of it. Similarly I had another huge pimple on my cheek that I just let go wild (because I was in a sort of coccoon period at the time). The thing leaked and crusted over and was really nasty in general but after a week or so all the scab and dead tissue fell off and my skin was baby smooth underneath.

The moral is: acne sucks, but past a certain point you just need to accept it, because trying to force things will only make it worse.

You can either spread your skin outwards and they'll pop if they're ready or you can use a sanitized needle to drain them and clean it out with antibacterial gel.

It'll sting but it's a good sting.

Through my teen years (and now and again when the odd spot appears) I've tried some inexpensive spot creams, benzoyl peroxide, and pure tea tree oil.

I've found one solution that works amazingly and the rest that don't. The thing that works is the 100% pure tea tree oil.

One or two drops of tea tree oil mixed with some vaseline and applying it directly to the pimple and leaving it overnight does absolutely wonders for me.

If it works even half as good for you as it does for me, you're going to be happy as fuck.

I did it for 4 months and it did nothing. I switched to an antiseptic foam face wash and a random face moisturizer and it worked a lot better and is a fuck ton cheaper. Still use the AHA once in awhile though.
