I used to live in Ottawa and found the market area east of parliament (behind the mall there) a good place to start there is a really good boutique called Trustfund and a great street wear shop called NRML. Those two places will get you set I would socialize a bit with the employees... Ask around.

The thing with Ottawa stores is you won't find a shop that has anywhere near 100% good items. They will typically be odd as fuck brandstock pairings like True Religion and Rag and Bone then Wings + Horn, its funny.

Reap & Sew is a pretty alright place, Schad is kinda filled with dickheads, but it sometimes has some solid stuff.

HR is still shit for the modern under 40 man.

The Bay isn't bad, and we have all the solid mall tier shops like AA, Banana Republic and that shit. For your plain grey crewnecks, this would likely be your best option. Or just try and find a grocery store peddling Joe Fresh and buy from them.
