I've seen men and womenw wear them. Are they usually only worn by blacks and hispanics?

I do, and they are great for mountain hiking. Very comfy and durable. They are also water resistant so you can walk in snow without getting your feet wet.

Try to go for a different color than the yellow boot, although you can pull that off even as a white dude. Some of their earthkeepers boots are a tad slimmer than the 6" classic boot and are available in different colors.
