Get a Billingham. I love the fuck out of mine, the only thing I regret is the colour choice as I ended up with the khaki, which is more classic, but I feel like the black on black might have been a better choice for pairing up with fits.

They just seem really 'camera bag' to me. Which I dislike. The Crumplers are another bag company I'd suggest, even though stylistically I dislike them immensely.

All in all, what matters is you have a bag. Padding and shit doesn't matter as much as you might think. So just find a side bag or backpack you like, and use it. If you really want padding, then grab some inserts and turn that bag into a padded bag.
