Not sure if I should post this here but is there any good ways to "devolumize" my hair? Mine is barely at my nose at the longest point on the top and it's a bit shorter on the sides and it's very poofy. Don't know if it also worsens in that my hair is kind of wavy/curly and I'd prefer it to be straight. Tried straightening it earlier but it won't work since it's too short. Also I'm trying to not use shampoo but I have dandruff, any tips?

I used to suffer pretty severe dandruff before no poo and I just left it and wore hats plus dandruff can be worsened if you don't dry your hair properly. I don't use anything when I blow dry but make sure you don't burn your scalp. Keep moving the hair dryer

This. I'm pretty sure I haven't fucked up my hair beyond repair and it doesn't fall out in clumps but I do get a good amount of single strands that fall out overnight or when combing.

What would you have me do Anon? It's not like a got a lot of options. It's either lots of pomade, Jew fro, or I guess short dreadlocks (would take over a year to make them well).

Pic related is current haIrcut minus the pomade. This lasts for less than a month since my hair grows so fast. I'm sort of resigning myself to Jew fro at this point unless someone's got an alternative.

Too short on top for a side part. Side parts are awesome, but leave it longer on top or you'll look like a square. Also a big mistake with side parts is using too much product, or too heavy of a shine. Basically the side part is a classic look but you dont want it to look old-timey.
