Maybe I'm stupid and doing something wrong, but I feel like it always looks bad with my hair.
It's pretty soft, thinner than average. My hair isn't straight, but it's only curled very slightly, and only on the end of the hair.

I have just given up on products because every time a barber did it, it looked pretty bad and I don't think there is anything I can do to make it better.

these pics and I have pretty thin hair. What I do is put on a small amount of syoss volume lift powder and then use some wax. It's a pretty universal combo for a lot of hairstyles, at least from personal experience. You might have to experiment a bit to find out just how much wax you need to achieve the look you want. Also, if it works for you, no poo helps a lot!

I'd recommend using a very tiny bit of wax (just lightly tap one finger in it), it makes your hair look better and gives more control over it.
Back to your question though, you can pull off most hairstyles without product, as long as you're doing no poo and can style your hair more or less without it being all fuzzy and shit. I use product mostly to keep my hair in place, so I don't have to readjust it every 10 minutes.

Every morning when I get up, I wash my hair with water and then blow dry it into place. That is the most important step for me when doing any hairstyle. Then I apply some volume lift powder if I feel like it needs it and style it with some cheap ass wax I got from the store. I also use hairspray to keep it in place, but that's optional.

A beard is made of hair yes? This is after about a week. Never grown it out this much before, always needed it shaved for work. Should I just give up? The neck area isn't that dark really. But it is a whole mix of red, brown, black, blond and white.

What product should i get for that "3 days after a shower" hair? I have absolutely no interest in pomade or gel or styling at all, I just hate how my hair looks (bulky, straight, bieber-esque) the first day or two after I shower.
