Lunacore and ninja are variations or "flavours" on regular, trendy outerwear which fits and suits the wearer.
Suits and fedoras do not usually fit/suit their wearers, and are plainly inappropriate as casual wear.

i don't even take these words seriously; i was humoring you, but i can tell you that the first was clearly trying to subscribe to that aesthetic, and the second could easily be associated with that aesthetic like many fits can regardless of the intention

you'll notice that lunar threads often have costumes and fits that weren't put together with the intention of being "lunarcore" or even related to space exploration, but inspiration can still be found in them
