The parka is Penfield, but it's from a few years ago so I doubt you'll find this exact one. A lot of their outerwear is quite nice though. As for the shirt, its Freshjive, but the brand has since taken a big nose dive now that they've jumped on to the streetwear bandwagon and are printing pot leaves on everything.

I don't really know. Personal taste? When I use a solid oval it just looks really unappealing, like it's actually distracting and if I were to be looking at the photo from someone elses point of view I would be distracted from the fit in the same way as if I didn't cover it to begin with.

Somehow using a somewhat translucent oval feels less distracting when I look at it.
