Uh, I don't understand why you'd spend that much money on such a nice pair of sneakers only to neglect them until they look like total shit.

Nothing better than copping an item brand new and opening that shoe box for the first time knowing they've never been worn..

I copped a new pair of geos last week after passing on a used pair for only $100 less, and I'm glad I did, they look so much nicer in mint condition.

It's almost more of a sculpture than a shoe. everything about it feels substantial on a grand scale. You spend years as a sneaker fan, searching for that one perfect shoe, and then when you've found it... well, it's a joy to put on.

When I bought my first pair of white shoes (AF1's lel) I was very keen on keeping them clean. Then I saw all these sick pics and other people wearing their worn out pairs and instantly changed my view on shoes in general.

When they're in mint condition they just look like I only wear them to impress. Ofcourse I want to impress because lol, why would I otherwise spend this much on shoes & clothes? I want to give the world a point of view of nonchalance, so to say.

Sorry for rambling.

the only place a shoe needs to hold your foot is across the vamp. it sounds like you bought a size too large or need thicker socks.

because everyone's orthodic needs are different.
traditionally you'd cork the midsole with, cork, but now it's synthetic corking, either way with wear it molds to the shape of your foot beneath the insole itself. this makes fancy scholls insteps unnecessary, but if you don't have a healthy foot or a good stride it can cause problems.
but if only some of your customers need it, why provide an insole that the rest won't when they can cheaply get one of their own? especially since every customer that will need one might need a different one.

The cheapest (without feeling too cheap) that I've encountered have been, surprisingly enough, often from Diesel and/or Black Gold. It does mean you have to put up with a little bit of obnoxious branding, but the fit and leather quality are good enough that the tradeoff doesn't seem awful. BLK DNM has a leather pant for women that's a core style, but I don't recall if there's a men's equivalent, but those clock in around $900-$1000, which is where most full leather bottoms start in the contemporary/boutique market. Alternatively, try a leather look like a waxed/coated denim, particularly something with a touch more polyurethane in it to give it that glossy, less denim-y feel

Here's a Diesel pair if you want to investigate.
