OK, first of all, that blog is spammed so veraciously here that you almost certainly have to be the owner.

dadcore is actually just poorly executed menswear

so just make sure it all fits and coordinates well. you can spice it up with elements from other styles too so its not just a uniform, like bits of streetwear or some more interesting designer pieces

This seems kind of nebulous, but the two big mistakes that guy (and most dadcores) makes are looking like he's trying too hard (too many patterns or statement pieces or accessories at once) and being "dressed by the Internet" (bare ankles and high-waters with shiny shoes, tie bar, skinny tie, the aforementioned double monk straps, Ray Bans, etc).
