No care looks best. I applied Obenauf's to mine and they darkened considerably.

no care, I've had a pair for about a year and they look great. The leather isn't scuffed too much and they were dark to begin with, so now they have a nice color

can't be bothered for a pic though, just don't put anything on them

I'd suggest a shoe tree to avoid creases, but some people dig them.

I don't necessarily wish I used shoe trees, but I kind of wish I didn't bend them as much as I did.

Personally I like leather that does this and looks very worn after awhile.

Adds personality

Saddle soap every once in a while is what I use, mine have aged p nicely.

Do these get particularly fucked up by rain?

>> No.6981364

I was thinking about getting a pair but i think the gum/sole part is too light. Will that darken with wear?

>> No.6981375

>>6981364
They do, Crepe soles get dirty fast

>>6980650

I just clean mine every once in a while, when they get dirty.
Also I occasionally apply some leather cream I had lying around. It darkens the leather slightly (I think it looks better) and gives it a marginally shinier finish. The leather doesn't look as dry.

I don't use shoe trees with them. They're not really dress boots and are supposed to get beat up IMO.
