i just went to a hardware store and bought some of those nylon straps with the buckles you find on backpacks and cheap luggage. when i'm not wearing my jacket i usually drape it over my shoulder like this so i crudely measured the length i'd need, added some extra, eyeballed where i wanted it attached, and sewed on the straps. if you cut the nylon use a lighter to melt up the end a bit so it doesnt come unwoven. wasnt too hard did it in an hour or two. it looks kinda shitty close up but i'm not too worried about that
