hello /fa/. been here since ss12. decided to get a trip. just now getting into goof/punk

in the fall i'm going to put together a sort of punk/goof/street blend for my wardrobe. could all-white doc martens work with black skinny jeans on a male? i'm thinking of a monochrome look with a black leather jacket, white docs, black jeans, long white tees [think voidthebrand]. maybe some drop pants for a touch of streetwear.

the part that worries me is that i only see teenage girls wearing doc martens, so i wouldn't want to be mistaken for one since i have a slim body type.

any ideas?

the white would place too much emphasis on the docs imo. Usually when people do the different colored shoe fits its bc they are wearing expensive shoes. Docs are just like so generic

Sounds like a 'edgier' version of what I usually wear. The other day i wore a black jumper , black jawnz , white oxford and low black docs. I usually stick with monochrome minamilist fits. If you're interested I have a pic.

that's sort of what I was going for. I see some nice streetwear and goof fits with the monochrome look, but not enough punk. the edgy nature of the docs and leather jacket would add a punk element without taking away from the simplicity of the monochrome look.

So basically heroin chic - even punkier edition?

>> No.6601803

>>6601789
not quite. heroin chic and punk often have features such as torn pants, dirty or old clothes. my clothes are going to be clean and untorn.

I'm not sure that would look punk at all then.

leather jackets and docs add the edgy element from punk without seeming dirty or homeless.

i'm not trying to look completely punk, just adding a little bit of punkish edgyness.

You have literally no clue what you are talking about. Pls don't trip, we don't want another Pep.

if i trip, you can just filter my posts if you don't like them. If i stayed anon, my shitty posts would be harder to get rid of.

you are making me shake my head so hard OP

the docs aren't the part that's bad, what's bad is your VTB shirts and FBRXSQR drop pants

>>6601957
vtb shirts are decent quality and i don't plan on wearing fabrixquare pants. i was thinking along the lines of black/grey zespy chinos

has bandit ever posted anything worth posting?
has he ever posted a fit, or a picture of his jacket?

no? So why would anyone actually care about what he says?

as i've already said, i'm only now getting into goof. have you any other suggestions?

buy used, you don't pull off a style by buying cheap imitations of the clothing
