I don't think it ever really goes out. It trends, but it's always been an option since Warhol and Vietnam.
You can wear it rugged, ironically, tacticool, it even works with some meanswear and lots of streetwear.

If you have to wear camo, avoid all camo that is currently being used by any military. This includes Marpat, Cadpat, UCP, Multicam, etc.

Go with something from like World War II era.

Or Rhodesian camo. That camo is the shit.

I can't fuck with it myself. I think I maybe binged too much as a kid on the military toys and stuff and can't shake the association for myself. But it can look great when remixed and riffed on.

The Army Combat Shirt is lustworthy. Anyone know what the special "Army-specific accessories" are on the version you need a .mil e-mail to buy? I can't figure it out.

I want to copy the sewing pattern of my Belgian Dennison smock.

All I have is some newspaper, pins, and a piece of cardboard. Will that be enough to make a sewing pattern?

I plan on laying the newspaper flat on the cardboard, laying out flat the smock, then pinning its seam corners onto the newspaper + cardboard. Then I plan on connecting the holes to come generate a pattern.

Will that work?

Most boots of time had hobnails and/or steel heels, because marching great distance would very heavily scrub the leather. Therefore hobnails installed to make boot last longer and give better traction to ground. Rich country like USA could afford rubber soles on boot but most other countries could not do this because rubber was strategic resource. Putting heels and taps on civilian shoes was also common for same reason.

That is pretty inaccurate, a large part of the movie is (although the costumes and combat scenes are pretty much spot on, very progressive compared to your usual Chinese China Incident movie).
