Sup /fa/.

Last winter I bought a surplus Czechloslovakian parka to keep me warm (only $20). I didn't wear it as much as I needed to though, because I don't want to look like one of those wannabe military fags. I have decided to dye the outer layer from olive drab to something else. What color would look best on me? I was thinking black, or a dark blue. Or should I stop worrying and leave it the way it is?

I'm 6', thin, and dirty blonde, if that matters any.

Also, how do I go about dying it? Or would /diy/ be a better place to ask?

Fortunately, I am trying to kill it in Indiana.

It probably wont dye well, although most blacks are purple based so you might have okay results over a green, could turn out a weird muddy brown though. I don't think the collar would dye well either, more than likely it would turn a dull purple. Best bet would be to just save your money and invest in a different jacket, it's probably not worth the time and effort.

plus, the seams would still be green

Yeah exactly, plus the belt would come out a different colour too.

Don't dye it. You'll probably end up ruining it. It's absolutely fine the way it is.
