well, its not mechanical, first of all.
if you just want a fashion accessory, its a perfect watch. you switch out the bands and match all your outfits.
if you do want an entry level mechincal, check out seiko 5s or orient makos. but first read a bit and see if you really want/ need a mechanical (warning, it is a very addictive and expensive hobby).

If you want a cheap whit/beige e faced mechanical watch i would go for the seiko snk803
