I bought those in white recently as my CP Achilles substitute. Veja have a lot of focus on buying materials and manufacturing from smaller businesses and sustainable projects. They spend no money on marketing to balance these costs, hence some may not have heard of them. Living in the south east of England, they are stocked in most not-fast fashion shops.

The shoes have a comfy inner sole. The leather on the outside is unique, not supple at all. I got them for £44 and am happy.
