Hey /fa/ I need recommendations on optical glasses, I was thinking of getting either Sophnet or Oliver Peoples glasses, any other ideas?

PS, my head is pretty wide, for a reference I wear a 7 3/8 fitted and wearing the New Wayfarer Raybans model gives me a headache for being so tight.

i got some lenses put in my old new wayfarers today. cost me almost £120. i got ripped. fuck vision express.

oliver people's glasses are really nice, op. you should prolly jut go try a bunch of frames on, although that can be hard i think, considering the limited stock of most high street opticians.

my optician is pretty low-brow, just your typical rectangular glasses, all pretty ugly stuff. She let's me send her a link to any pair of glasses and orders it for me though, which is why I'm looking for some recs

Oh lol I have a small head but what I was trying to say was that I love the styles that oliver peoples have. I wish my head was bigger so I could wear some of their other frames

Yeah, this. They'll send you a box of blank pairs to try on if you don't have a local showroom and they're cheap and look good.

quick question for glasses wearers, so as to not start my own thread:

Are tortoise shell glasses able to be masculine? I wont be wearing them as optical - sun only.

Strongly leaning towards pic (Persol PO2803s)

Gonna hijack this thread as well.

Anyone have a recommendation for glasses similar to this? I tried them on at the store and they looked great. They're Paul Smith's Churchill
I'm sure they exist and don't cost $400.

Tortoise shell can be masculine as fuck on the right frames. I just copped tortoise Clubmasters and they work really well as sunglasses. I haven't gotten a bad comment yet.

Clubmasters are sunglasses only. Victory Optical and Shuron are the only companies making browline opticals that are actual preescription lenses.

Where I'm from you can take any frames, take them in to an opticians and have them install prescription lenses..

Those remind me of military glasses, try something along those lines.
