i dont know, but i personally think theyre very aesthetically pleasing, but im not really a fan of wearing shoes with that type of toebox. I think the design is awesome though, just not for me.

to me, one of my favorite qualities of ricks shoes is the kind of rough/punk/futuristic/militant quality of the design/materials. these have a bit less of the rough/punk feel, a little more sleek/futuristic than other stuff. but i think running shoes are supposed to give the impression of speed as part of the design, which leads to a more aerodynamic side view and toe box.

I know flyknits look great and all, but they get these stress fractures in the sole, that neat little white part gets kind of smushed. Granted, it only happened to mine on the inside of the leg so it's not really a big deal, but I imagine it's gonna be looking crap all around sometime not too far from now.
