Does /fa/ wear women's clothing?

>>I do
Mostly women's jeans sometimes I'll sneak a shirt or jacket. Nothing that looks overly feminine;
I just like how things fit or look.

>> No.6406313

FYI women do this too with men clothing
>all xxs sold out after few weeks

Yeah but I think theirs less of a stigma when when they do.
Some people actually find it really cute when chicks do this; when
guys do it; it's "OMG, fag". ahaha

lol I would go that far. Though it does seem that way at times.

Yep.
Impossible to find shit in my size, especially pants, and I like the colors and prints used in women's clothing much more than men's.

I've wondered for a while, are women's sweaters and sweatshirts actually cut noticeably differently to men's, aside from being smaller? I want to cop some oversized girl shit but I have no idea if it'll look "off" because of the cut

How cute, he still thinks clothing has a binary gender coordination.

You can't ignore that, unfortunately, is does to most people. I get incredibly weird looks when shopping in the women's section if I'm not already trapped up. Oh well, just a matter of time.

This. And if so, can a tailor rectify it?

>> No.6406597

>>6406592

No way to know until you try it on and/or take it to your tailor.

well the neck is usually wider and its more loose in the chest area. Some sweaters or clothing is for females and accentuates their features, just like mens clothes do theirs.

>>6406488
yes, but most pieces are tailored to make the item look better on one gender's anatomy than the other's
andrej is a good example -- very androgynous; if you have an androgynous body then shopping from both women's and men's will be easy and provide you with lots of pieces that look good on you

>> No.6406828

>>6406679
Sure, but this thread is more about what people think of others wearing the other sex's clothing, not if it fits well. OP said himself that he prefers the fit, so we'll assume for now that it actually works for him. I was just commenting more on the "how I'm perceived actually buying it" than the "does it look good on me" part.

there is far greater variance between individuals than between large groups; the thinnest men are much more slender than the average woman, and the largest woman are bigger than the average man, to speak nothing of the myriad of ways in which clothing can actually be tailored.

tbh nothing fits me better than rick's womenswear

he frequently reappropriates shapes and ideas back and forth, and i suspect that hed get a kick out of drag utilizing his clothing, but it's gendered in the sense that there are separate men's and women's collections with separate lookbooks that are sold in separate sections of the store.

>> No.6407080

>>6407063

No. There's crossover, but there are styles that are distinctly cut for men and women with different style codes for each. All women's is RS or DS and all men's styles are RU and DU.

This is true! It's very hard to pull of clothing that isn't designed for your gender. The reason I like
women's jeans is because I have really long and skinny legs so guy skinny jeans are to tight but boot cuts are to loose.

I always get weird looks when I shop in women's but if people ask I usually tell them I'm wearing women's jean. Most people are surprised and say they couldn't tell the difference. People don't realize clothing can be very unisex.

>> No.6407457

>>6407413
How? Men's and women's bodies are very different; they only reason some people get away
with wearing the other genders clothing is because they have an androgynous body or they carry
the other genders traits.
