Let's get a motorcycle related fashion thread going.

I'm planning on doing a cafe racer build and would like some inspiration both for the build and for my outfits/accessories.

Check out motomucci.com for some examples of the style I'm trying to achieve.

I had something similar to pic related at one point, built from a 1976 R90/6.

get a real motorcycle. i've noticed the little ones have gottwn popular with hipsters who actually ride around in crews going to different cafes and bars, etc. They all look like fairy fuccbois and they make me wanna throw a metal bar through their spokes. if i were to ever get a motorcycle, it could only ever be a harley

Nice ride! I don't have the money to do a quality BMW like that now so I'll probably be going with a cheap Honda. Most likely a cb450.

>>6369828
Cool vid, thanks.

>>6369845
It's of my opinion that retro builds like these put out the most refined/sophisticated image of any bike and that's what I'm going for. Trying to class up my style a bit. Harley's have too much of an asshole image and sportbikes are too "I'm 18 and want to fuck bitches" unless we're talking about Ducati/MV Agusta/Aprilia etc.

Besides, riding around with a group of friends from place to place sounds like an excellent time.

I really like this aesthetic, there's something about the design and construction that makes it seem more technologically genuine than contemporary stuff

especially on cars it seems to me that as computer modelling got better and it became practical to incorporate more curves, cars seem to look like fisher price toys and don't have the sharp, clean lines or practical styling they used to

Other than the Triumph Bonneville, Harley-Davidson builds the most beautiful two-wheeled machines in the world.

But that's about it. Harley-Davidson also builds the most outdated, unreliable pieces of junk you'll see outside of some shitty Indian factory.

People who buy Harleys generally buy into the brand, not the motorcycle itself. I really want a Harley just to look cool, but no. The downsides are really just not worth it.

The best cruisers on the market right now are built by Victory. They're a lot better than Harleys and cheaper too, but there's something with them that just seems "off" and vulgar about the design. Not that it matters because I can't afford to buy one anyway.

>> No.6372227

>>6372212
Oh and I forgot. If you want a cruiser that:
* Looks good
* IS good
* Is cheaper than a Harley
* Isn't Japanese shit

Triumph has some cruisers as well, from the entry level America to the more expensive Thunderbird (as well as the ugly cousin Rocket III - look it up and vomit).

>>6370055
Don't get a Perfecto, they're outdated and overused. For maximum /fa/, get one of their café racer jackets and a Triumph Bonneville.

Cost me about €1300,- to get, I'm Dutch and we need to do a theoretical exam and two practical exams. Which already cost about €500,- or €600,- together. The other €600.- or €700,- is for lessons, gear and usage of the motorcycle.
