I would probably avoid the Noir's then as they are slim/straight. Go try them on though and check them out for yourself. It's good to hear that you want to rock some local denim, there is some pretty cool denim in Melbourne.

what denim brands besides nudie and a.p.c. have sizes below 28? i'm about a 28 natural waist and i have trouble finding jeans that are even a true 28 since most are tag 28 and actually 30ish. a.p.c.'s work out okay (i like the petit standard) except the thighs are iffily small sometimes for some reason. i have really skinny calves but regular/comparatively meaty thighs. i'm not into nudies really but i notice on their site that they go down to 26 or 27. it would be great to find something slim-to-skinny (leg opening like 6.5") with a 28 or below waist and with a thigh of around 11" anyone know of anything like that? preferably made in u.s.a. + selvedge but these are negotiable

heh i am in the same boat with my n&f superskinnyguy left hand twills. copped a 32 when i was a 32, and have lost a bit of weight. i haven't even read much on washing yet but i in another month or so when i get around to it. but what i really want is to wash them gently so they stay somewhat dark. should be easy for you to do that since yours will be a bit heavier than mine.
