Is this at all accurate, regarding to the level of classiness continent to continent?

London = New York
Los Angeles = Paris
San Fransico = Rome
Chicago = Berlin
(no equivalent) = Prague

I don't think Los Angeles is comparable to Paris. I think Manhattan is.

>> No.6292730

>London = New York
yeah kind of. kind of.

>Los Angeles = Paris
fuck no

>San Fransico = Rome
fuck no

>Chicago = Berlin
havent been to chicago, their accent annoys me too much. if the city is hipster central of the US then yes it would be like Berlin

Is there a US equivalent of Rome or Paris?

Is there a US equivalent to London?
Washington DC perhaps? I always assumed Londoners were quite progressive.

new york
in terms of fashion milan > florence > rome

I would say:
London = Chicago
New York = Paris
San Fransico = Florance
Los Angeles = Naples
Washington DC = Berlin
Philadelphia = Prague

No I dont think so. When I think of LA I think of bleached blondes, surgeries, tryhard wannabes and nouveau riche. Nothing at all like Paris. And cant think of any city in the US that is like it (not that Ive been to ALL the states but you know what I mean).

Same with Rome Id think.

London is huuuge compared to Manhattan (dont say NYC because thatd include Queens and the Bronx and those places are shitholes). Id say some places of London are very much like (the good parts of) Brooklyn and other places are like Manhattan

>> No.6292742

Los Angeles can be Berlin or Munich. Shithole central.

why would anyone actually choose to live in the UK? bland, depressing country, shit weather all year round

I don't think I've ever been as bored by a country when I travelled there, literally anywhere else in europe is infinitely more appealing

I'll be moving there for school next year, quite excited about it to be honest.

>>6292765
Nepal? To be honest the only area of America I'd related to Nepal would be Alaska, as it is very cut off and quite rough and mountain-esque.

California though? Maybe once you get to Norcal and get into bush country it will relate, otherwise California is essentially it's own suburban beast with sprawling suburban areas surrounding monolithic, yet empty urban centers. It really is a totally different world homie.

Sydney is in Australia, New Zealand would be Christchurch or Auckland. With those two cities, you could compare them most to Seattle, Sydney would be more along the lines of San Fransico than any other major city in California, and likely also the best pair when looked at all across the USA, perhaps Chicago could fit in as well though, being that it has a plethora of suburban communities in the same vane as Sydney, with a nice historic centre situated by water.

I'm from Canada homie, so I know all about that game already.

It should be a great deal of fun. I was speaking with some friends yesterday though and went through all the differences that I'll likely experience between here and there, and it was quite a little shock. I've been to England multiple times, but I spent most of them in large urban areas, this time I will be living on a small country estate and going to school not far away about an hour south west of London, so it is going to be a really different view point of England than I've ever been able to experience before.
