I have no summer clothes apart fom gap jean shorts and band t-shirts. You can see how this is a problem.
I'm 5'8'', pear-shaped.
I hate hipster and swag crap. Simple outfits with muted colors, and a bit of a rock'n roll edge is what i'm looking for. Can you help me?

Pic related. Something that feels like this. Laid back, more youthful and dark though.

It's a pretty singular cut, but there are lots of other skorts out there. A large number of skorts are targeted towards juniors and as activewear.

The truth is you're either looking at designer or contemporary stuff that's probably a little less aggressively styled.

I don't think i'd feel confident in a skort anyway. I worse those when I was twelve, it seems too childish.

Like, I said, it's a big item in the juniors market, but it takes a pretty practiced eye to cut it in a way that's attractive and modern.

You could also try things like skirted/paneled pants, but this sort of super directional design hasn't really translated into cheaper, simpler styles (yet?).

I am pear shaped and I almost exclusively wear dresses during the summer. I like fit and flare, t-shirt, and sun dresses and I think I want the Gap 4-in-1 dress for the summer.

They're great, I don't think I could pull them off though. I'm not very good at pulling outfits together yet. So, this might be too 'advanced' for me.

It's good that you caught that, but if you look at the drape, it's probably easier to wear than you expect because the stripes fall almost into a chevron.
