I've heard Uniqlo's knits were sup par compared to their other offerings but for $20 you could do a lot worse. If your strapped for cash I'd say cop. If you don't like it or it starts to fall apart, it was only $20.

I like Everlane's tees their great spring summer tees. Someone else said this great thing as a testament to their quality. "If I became a mulit millionaire my Everlane t shirts would be the only item that I wouldn't upgrade." They're softer and thinner the Uniqlo from a review I've read. I have a bunch of them and I love em, they don't have huge arm openings so they don't flare out. I don't even lift either. The cut is wider in the chest than American Apparel though but not by a lot.
