I prefer how Chuck Taylors look over Vans Old Skools, but the soles on Chucks are terribly slippery even if they get a bit wet to the point where they're unwearable if you live where it rains a lot. For the sneakers, wear something tapered that doesn't go over the tongue. For the boots, something bootcut that covers the top would look best.

reebok classic - underrated compared to c85, even better imo, probably going to trend in the future

The Reebok's aren't very comfortable IMO. The sole is still and hard. Ive not worn the Stans, but Adidas make some comfortable skate shoes that hold up well, especially if they have suede. Even if you don't skate, they're nice for everyday because they.have a softer inserts than their other lines of models. Most of their skate silouets have a white or all-white colorway too.
