i'm a guy (there are no girls on the internet) and i'm going to make myself some stone bead bracelets. i'm thinking of ordering malachite, lapis lazuli, tiger's eye, and maybe unakite. what other stones look good on men?

Yeah I love lava rocks. I think I'll buy some 6mm ones to go with the larger 8mm leftover beads to make a necklace so I can use extremely potent essential oils on the lava beads without them contacting and burning my skin, and because I don't really know what else to do with the leftovers.

Nice. Yeah I always liked that the lava rocks have a function.
Sometimes I see jewelry that is all lava rock with one smooth bead in the middle as an accent. It’s usually the same size and sometimes it’s obsidian or something where the color is close but the texture is different. It’s a neat look.

Malachite and Lapis are my favourite. Just don't get them wet though, it's not good for them.

You can get quartz's, and agates in most colours too and they look nice. Just don't get any of those dyed ones, they look tacky. Jasper's are also really nice if you want some very earthy tones.

Also if you're buying turquoise make sure it's not dyed howlite. You can generally tell by comparing the two, but it happens a lot.

I saw a fake lapis lazuli bracelet at Five Below for $5 but you can get them for $3-4 shipped from aliexpress, and it's real lapis, not the highest quality at that price point but it's nonetheless real & cheaper.

finally got the lapis lazuli and stretchy string in and made these! the malachite is gorgeous and pretty uniform but the lapis was a little less so, these are 25 of the bluest beads that came on a strand of 50 but there are probably about 10 lapis beads that are not quite as deep or rich of a blue as these are. I got the most expensive options from zhe ying, they called it "rare 7a" I think, and you get what you pay for, they're really gorgeous and this picture taken with my phone camera doesn't really do justice to the deepness and richness and vibrancy of color they have. I looked up some videos on YouTube to see how to make the knots properly, it's super simple, but I used 1.0mm string while most people do two or three strands of smaller gauge string, and I put a drop of super glue on the knot to hopefully keep it from coming undone. they said I would get about 45 beads but I got 50 lapis lazuli and 51 malachite beads so I'm going to go ahead and make 4 bracelets. I will probably order more in the future and make matching necklaces because I really like how these turned out.
