I wish Tudor would make more watches that aren't just Rolexes in different colors to diversify and offer something Rolex doesn't. It'd be great if they offered something like a 36-38mm GMT watch(and also their GMT movement wasn't deliberately a thick piece of shit to avoid cutting into sales of Rolex GMTs.) Maybe a cool compressor case watch. Bring back the Oyster Prince Date Day so there's a steel alternative to the Daydate. Just generally offer nice stuff Rolex doesn't make.

When I looked into it to ensure my horde of shitters all the services were pretty similar you just tradeoff premiums for deductibles. Check with your renter's or homeowner's insurance and you can just add it to your policy, it's easier and often cheaper. I decided to avoid the hassle because the chances I get robbed, lose my watch, or my place burns down are very small. Unless my collection gets over $20k I might reconsider at that time, hopefully that never happens.

Perhaps two reasons:
Actual manual wind movements are not often bought by mass manufacturers.
The ubiquitous 2824 or equiv seiko clones are autos, and in converting them to handwinds takes extra work. I dunno if anyone does the latter anymore which used to happen with chink fakes.
The former instance seems more common. Everyone can list off the top of their heads the mass auto of the day that's in every cheap swatch group/seiko/microbrand under the sun but can you name the equivalent manual wind?
No. Less made, less bought, more expensive despite being less complex compared with the auto.
That's my guess.

hi /fa/ newfag here
I'm looking for something that will be both a style watch and a fitness tracker as I don't wanna have two separate watches, so basically something that will be with me 24/7 so to speak.
I was thinking on something by Garmin either on the Forerunner line or on the Fenix line since my personal style/aesthetics is something more futuristic (so the Instinct doesn't do it for me) what do y'all think?
