and they're just pleasant smells to most people, which is why they're components of many popular "date / clubbing" fragrances, such as D&G The One or CH Men Prive
of course a different interpretation of tobacco or leather can be much more out there and harsh as well. with leater accords especially there is a lot of variety, from castoreum leather stuff like Antaeus, to birch-based "russian leathers" like Cuir de Russie to Tuscan Leather and everything inspired by it

Guerlain Cuir Intense is also a great take on this "modern leather" genre

I don't own a full bottle of either of them though, I prefer Dior Homme Parfum as my modern leather because it has more going on and evolves much more on skin

I don't really get the similarity to Grey Vetiver that much personally. it reminds me more of Terre d'Hermes with that spiciness, minerality and "transparent" modern character, but without the orange. and with that weird akigalawood note that's also in the Kenzo fragrances, but I like it more here
the mineral and spicy elements make it almost savory. strange, pleasant and unique.

I do wonder if this strange, abstract scent smells good to your average person though. my mom hates it, but she hates anything with patchouli. I'll have to ask my GF later this week

i've bought a shitload of decants on parfumo and not once had a bad experience outside from a retard not copying my address properly. it's such a niche thing that there aren't a lot of scammers, at least when it comes to the parfumo souk and you avoid the top 50 designers. in fact most people there are having very fair prices for full bottles too.
worst i've encountered were cheap chink decant bottles that had a fishy smell to them but i only ever got that from gifted decants,never ones i bought myself.

Blind bought this because I've seen it mentioned online. It's warm, it's sweet, it's spicy, but they combine these profiles to make something really nice. Lots of fruit notes, apple, and a good amount of orange. I smell wood and lavender, but it's in small amount and doesn't feel powdery or stale. Absolutely love this scent.

I work in GIS for a private university.
My only other expensive habit is buying skins in Dota 2 as a form of psychological intimidation. I auck at the game so I just hope that using expensive skins will cause the enemy to assume I am good and play with less confidence as a result which will give me a better chance to win.
