The real issue is that almost every tattoo i’ve ever seen is retarded. The idea behind it is dumb and the execution is shit. I always lie and say “oh, i love your new tattoo,” when in reality it is shit and I know they regret it because I’d rather them not feel worse over it. And this isn’t a gendered issue, it is a blanket statement against tattoos. It makes me question the person’s judgement, like how could you be so dumb? Also, why not buy jewelry if you have €500 to drop on a large piece. Doesn’t make much sense. You also have to look the part. Sailors, rappers, and criminals pull off tattoos because they look the part. Your ma, some dork who works in a bookstore, or an washed-up tumblr girl do not look the part, so the tattoo is not /fa/ and is usually derivative.
