Which eyeglasses (not sunglasses) brands are /fa/ approved?

I've worn my current pair for like, 7 years and need some new ones, but have no idea which brands are good and which are trash these days.

Price doesn't correlate with quality in glasses.
My 300 euro frames (Moscot) are the same quality as chinese copies I have.
Actually, the chinese copies have slightly crooked edges where the plastics meet, but not something you would notice if not looking. Meanwhile, over time they have held their shape better, got damaged less, their hinges are in better condition and overall feel like higher quality in hand.

Go figure, but don't let these facts keep you from cucking yourself out of a weeks worth of work for something a chinese kid makes in 3 minutes.

I used to have a pair of Ray Ban eyeglasses, and they were amazing - looked great, super flexible and durable, and only cost me like $200 after insurance. They were kind of a rounded rectangle/oblong shape, and were medium brown wood grain looking.
Unfortunately, I destroyed them in an incident and had to get a new, cheap pair of glasses. Currently wearing some generic black Wayfarer clones from Zenni. Their plastic frames seem pretty durable now, whereas I think they used to be quite flimsy, brittle, and breakable.

I have a fake pair of these with clear optical lenses as my main ones and fake moscot miltzen crystal as my alternate. I have a twink-ish body and a small face, but unfortunately my face is of a more rectangular shape, so I need to use very rounded glasses. Finding nice unique optical glasses is very difficult; where I live, having custom optical lenses fitted costs the equivalent of $300 USD, so it's generally best for me to buy fakes from china where I can get frames + lenses for $70 through a middleman, or $20 if I buy directly from Taobao. I'd like to buy a single, real pair from some niche brand, but they would have to be completely unique and nothing like I could walk into a store anywhere in the world and buy.

have you ever had rimless glasses before? The care for them is more intense. You're actually not really supposed to fold them even at the hinges, the more work around that tiny hinge, the more likely they will break. If you only need a low script and not something high index, then the cost is smaller, but don't expect to ever get frames for them again.

Where do you get cute eyeglasses frames in the US? I'm looking for new glasses and wanted something cute for a change. I buy my stuff in the US or Japan. In Nipland I went to Rakuten and I quickly found pic related. Cute, pink, rectangular/oval, thin metal frame (titanium even) for 60-70 USD. Nowadays there seems to be more shops not accepting gaijin CCs and ofc having to deal with SS in the first place, so I went looking in the US. But I can't find anything similar. They are either cheap looking, too thick, ugly, big shapes, expensive af or a combination thereof. I've tried almost everything Google threw up in the first pages.

Any glasses superstore recommendations with wide variety of frames?

Else I'll have to end up with the Japs. My only worry is that the bridge in ALL of them seems to be 16mm. My current ones are 18-19. The rest of the measurements match what I have (~50 glass width, ~135 temple length). May have to go to a random shop here to try some 50-16 glasses before taking the plunge.
