If you're not going on a proper fast and aim to just eat 500 calories a day, coffee and sugar are some of the worst options. As long as the issue is not psychological - i.e. you *need* to eat certain things to feel mentally satisfies (which you should work on anyway if that's the case desu) - eat avocadoes, canned anchovies, olives... fatty umami things, preferably plants (otherwise you'll get very bad constipation probably). ill share my story, I was fat. 210/220lbs @ 6'2'' in june 2021. I was 18 at the time and I had been putting on weight all of high school. I went down to around 180 for a time but for most of hs, I was over 200. anyways in july of 2021 I started seeing a girl and over the corse of 2-1/2 months I lost around 25lbs. I belive this was from getting more exercise, eating less and a massive stress reduction.

anyways we broke up, she was super mean to me and among other things she called me fat. it really fucked me up and I lost another 40 lbs in 6 weeks.

I was miserable, aside from the breakup I now wanted to lose weight. anyways I looked at the snake juice diet. so I began running rolling 3 day fasts while going to the gym for cadrio for hours. it really sucked. I didn't go outside or do anything besides feel sorry for myself and stave. anywasys I lost so much weight. since febuary I've been going to the gym to put on lean mass and my body looks so much better now but I'm not putting on any weight.

I'm afraid that if I start bulking ill just bloat right up again and I don't want all my suffering to be for nothing.

Non-fat Greek yogurt. It has a fantastic calorie/protein ratio too if you like track your protein intake for working out. A serving is 170g, which is a lot to me.

I add 50g of chopped strawberries (~17 calories) and sweeten with splenda or some other zero-calorie sweetener. It tastes exactly like any sugary, flavoured yogurt from the grocery store. The only drawback is that it's fairly expensive and it sells out quickly.

Air-popped popcorn is also good, so long as it's not flavoured with butter or cheese or whatever. 3 cups is around 90 calories.
